1960s–1970s Irregular Engineer Boots Tea Core Leather HTC
Step into authentic vintage style with these rebuilt engineer boots from Irregular by Zip Stevenson. Crafted from original 1960s to 1970s bases, this early pair showcases prized teacore leather, where the natural brown core gradually reveals itself through dark surface wear.
Zip Stevenson is the creative force behind Hollywood Trading Company (HTC) and Stevenson Overall Co. He personally selected vintage boots with exceptional character, then relasted and resoled them under his Irregular label. This pair belongs to the early run of the project, created prior to later collaborations with brands like Neighborhood and Freewheelers.
Equipped with classic Biltrite soles, the bottoms show roughly twenty to thirty percent wear. The sole width measures 29.5 cm. There is no official size tag on the boots, but the seller notes a fit equivalent to 26.5 cm to 27.0 cm.
Given its age and history, the leather shows noticeable scuffs, scratches, and wear throughout. These marks were deliberately left unpainted and unrestored to preserve the original patina and rich teacore look.
