Alcahest brings together two iconic names from the golden age of Japanese 16-bit gaming, combining the RPG expertise of Square with the action design of HAL Laboratory. Released for the Super Famicom, this title delivers a fast-paced blend of top-down action and fantasy adventure. Players guide the hero Alen through dangerous dungeons, utilizing elemental powers and calling upon guardians to defeat the evil demon god Alcahest.
Unlike traditional turn-based role-playing games of the era, the gameplay focuses on real-time combat, precise swordplay, and stage-based progression. It offers a unique rhythm that sets it apart from other 16-bit classics, making it a favorite among collectors of Japanese retro imports.
This is a used item and includes the game cartridge only. It does not come with the original box or instruction manual.
