Umei was named one of twenty-five artists representing the future of music by Rolling Stone Japan, and the album earned a nomination for the APPLE VINEGAR Music Award 2026, an initiative organized by Masafumi Goto of ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
Across eleven tracks, the record moves fluidly between classical, pop, electronic, and jazz, shifting from piano solos to trio arrangements, full string ensembles, and electronically infused compositions.
