First created in 1984 to mark the 200th anniversary of Frankfort, Kentucky, the brand pays tribute to the pioneers who built American whiskey culture. Each barrel is tasted and evaluated annually by a panel of sensory inspectors, including the master distiller, before it earns a place in the dedicated H Warehouse. There, the spirit ages through four Bluegrass summers, developing its signature depth and character.
Every octahedral bottle is topped with a collectible stopper depicting a Kentucky Derby winning Thoroughbred and jockey; there are eight different horse designs across the series, so tilting the glass reveals which famous racer graces your bottle. Each label is handwritten by hand, ensuring no two bottles are ever completely alike.
