Brooklyn Machine Works Stubiod Stem

Order via Japan Rabbit

The legendary Brooklyn Machine Works Stubiod Stem makes its return, bringing back an iconic piece of mountain bike history. Originally released around 2004, this stem became the standard setup for the Old Park Bike V2 before clamp sizes shifted and the lineup later moved on to the Flatrat Stem. Now it's back in exact reproduction form, ready for a new generation of riders.

Made in Japan from 6061 aluminum, it weighs 275 grams and features a 35mm reach for a quick, responsive feel. It uses a 25.4mm handlebar clamp diameter, a size that was common back in the day but rare to find now, and fits a 1 1/8 inch (28.6mm) fork steerer. It comes in Anodized Black, Hi Polish, and Anodized Gold finishes, with Anodized Gold priced slightly higher than the other two.

Brooklyn Machine Works built a global cult following with rugged, street-tested designs born in New York. This reissue of the Stubiod Stem fits perfectly on the current V4 Park Bike and pairs seamlessly with the Prison Bar, giving classic bike builders and modern riders a genuine taste of pure street heritage.
