The real highlight is the leather: Chromexcel US Oil Leather from Horween, the storied Chicago tannery that has been curing hides since 1905. Developed nearly a century ago, Chromexcel is produced through Horween's own combination tanning method, where carefully selected hides are treated with a proprietary blend of four or more natural fats and oils, including tallow, beeswax, vegetable oil, and fish oil, worked deep into the leather. The result is a supple, rugged material that only grows richer and more distinctive with wear, making this belt a piece that ages as well as it performs.
