DoDonPachi Resurrection for Nintendo Switch Amazon.co.jp Limited Edition with Acrylic Diorama Stand and Original Design Pin Badge

Order via Japan Rabbit

Dive straight into bullet hell history with the Nintendo Switch release of DoDonPachi Resurrection. This physical release brings one of CAVE's most legendary shoot 'em up titles to modern consoles. As an Amazon.co.jp exclusive edition, this brand new package comes bundled with a collectible acrylic diorama stand and an original design tin badge.

The story picks up six years after the battle in Lunapolis ended. The Moon-based DonPachi headquarters detects a strange turbulence in space-time, traced back to Exy, a rogue Element Doll who vanished during that final battle six years earlier. Exy has traveled to Japan in May 2008, determined to rewrite history, and the DonPachi army must stop her before the world is plunged back into war. The DoDonPachi series has long been celebrated by arcade fans worldwide for its intense danmaku gameplay, dark sci-fi themes, and deep scoring systems, and this chapter's battlefield, a war-torn vision of Tokyo in 2008, delivers that same signature intensity.

This release packs in eight game modes for players of every skill level, including a beginner-friendly Novice mode and Arrangement modes made exclusively for home play. It also includes the Black Label version, which runs on its own distinct system. Choose from three aircraft types, each paired with a Bomb, Power, or Strong shot style, to build the playstyle that suits you best. Turn the tide of battle with the Hyper Counter Mode, which powers up your ship while neutralizing enemy bullets, and the Counter Laser, which pushes back the opponent's beam attacks.

The game supports both English and Japanese language options, along with a portrait mode setting for that classic vertical arcade feel.
