Meet the ESP LONGWAY, the signature bass guitar built for Japanese bass virtuoso IKUO. Known for his technical mastery and heavy grooves in the Japanese rock scene, IKUO worked with ESP's builders to create an instrument made for speed and precision. This particular item is an early signature model, featuring the same sleek design but without the fingerboard LEDs found on later versions.
This secondhand instrument shows some minor scratches and signs of use from extended play, though nothing that stands out at a glance. The pickguard has been customized to black, matching the look IKUO wears in his recent photos. On the back of the body, a faint white mark remains where a sticker was once removed; it should come off easily with light cleaning.
Despite the cosmetic wear, the guitar remains structurally sound and stage-ready. The truss rod still has plenty of adjustment room left, so reliable playability should hold up for years to come.
