Fender USA Cyclone Electric Guitar Maple Neck

Order via Japan Rabbit

The Fender USA Cyclone Update is a rare gem born from Fender's lineup of offset electric guitars. Originally introduced as a modern blend of Mustang body styling and Stratocaster hardware, the Cyclone carved out its own cult following among players seeking a distinct look and feel. This particular instrument is a Japan-exclusive variant from 2002, finished in a sleek black body with a matching black pickguard. It is one of only 30 pieces ever produced in this limited color scheme.

Built for effortless playability, the guitar pairs an alder body with a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius, and a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge. Fender gave this model a 24.75-inch medium scale length, a rare choice for the brand that makes string bends feel fluid across its 22 frets. Unlike standard US Cyclones, this version comes factory-equipped with Hot Noiseless pickups, delivering higher output and extra punch while preserving single-coil clarity.

Offered in player's condition, the guitar displays scattered dents and scratches, along with a touch-up paint repair on the back of the neck. The internal wiring and pots have been replaced. The neck is straight, the truss rod works properly in both directions, and the frets retain roughly 70 percent height after a past leveling, so there's no buzzing or dead notes to worry about. Action is set low and comfortable, measuring 1.25mm on the high strings and 1.5mm on the low strings at the 12th fret. It weighs 3.8 kg and comes with a Fender hard case.
