Designed for easy handling, the guitar features a comfortable 15-inch semi-hollow body, smaller than most large-bodied semi-hollows, built from a maple top and back with mahogany sides. It uses a scooped rim and inner block carved from solid mahogany, joining the center block and rim into one piece. Controls follow the classic semi-hollow layout of two volumes, two tones, and a 3-way toggle, making it easy to dial in sounds on the fly.

Two FGN-original SP90 pickups handle the tone. They bring the open, cutting quality of a P-90 style single coil, with a thicker, more forward midrange than a typical Strat-style single coil, a combination that suits this semi-hollow body well. Played acoustically, it has a light, airy resonance; plugged in, the ebony fingerboard's tight definition comes through alongside the SP90's sticky, pushed-forward midrange. It doesn't get as thick and compressed as a humbucker-loaded semi-hollow, nor as thin as a standard single coil, landing in a sweet spot instead. Clean tones come out glassy and three-dimensional, and light overdrive brings a snappy rock-and-roll character, with good separation between chord notes and responsive pick dynamics. It's a genuinely versatile instrument, equally at home in jazz, blues, soul, or rock.

As for condition, this 2014 model shows only minor surface wear and slight finish shrinkage from age, but remains in impressively clean shape for a used guitar of its age. The neck is in good condition with no issues with the truss rod, and about 90% of the original fret height remains, so it's ready to play with confidence. It weighs 3.19kg and comes with a wrench and the original hard case.
