Meet the holy grail for vintage watch collectors: the legendary G-SHOCK DW-5000C-1A from April 1983. As the very first G-SHOCK model ever released, it launched a global movement toward indestructible timepieces built for real-world utility. This rare first-generation piece features the iconic early bulb backlight, stepless bezel design, and polished mirror-finish case back that started it all.
This secondhand watch has been fitted with genuine, unused replacement strap and bezel parts sourced from new-old stock, and the side screws have been upgraded to Phillips-head screws. The original accessories are all included: outer box, inner case, manual, and three extra flathead screws.
The glass has a faint surface scratch not visible in photos, and the mirror-finish case back shows multiple small scuffs. Even so, it remains a remarkably clean piece with minimal signs of wear, and the LCD display is currently functioning properly.

The genuine belt and bezel have been replaced with unused stored originals. The side screws have been changed to Phillips-head screws. There are faint linear scratches on the crystal that do not show in photos and numerous small scratches on the case back, but the watch is in clean condition with minimal signs of use. The LCD display was functioning properly at the time of listing; however, please note that vintage G-SHOCK modules may develop issues over time.
