Upgrade your Honda RC45's front suspension feel with this needle thrust bearing set, designed to fit into the fork spring end faces. Installing these bearings improves the fork's initial movement and overall smoothness, cutting down on internal friction as the suspension compresses and rebounds.
Honda's racing V4 lineage made the RC45 an icon of Japanese engineering, and keeping its internals sharp is key to preserving that ride quality on modern roads. This bearing upgrade is a simple way to keep a classic performance bike feeling precise.
This is a brand new set of two thrust bearing assemblies. Each assembly pairs one needle bearing with two thrust washers, adding 4mm of preload per set. During installation, adjust your collar length or spring size as needed, and fit a retainer if your setup requires one.
If you want bearings at both the top and bottom of both fork springs, you'll need four bearings total (two sets). Installation is straightforward for anyone who's serviced their own front forks before.
