HOUSTON 5CW45P U.S. Military CWU-45/P Flight Jacket

HOUSTON recreates a military staple with the US Military CWU-45/P Flight Jacket. Trusted across the US Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Army, the CWU-45/P is one of the most widely used flight jackets in the world, and this Japanese-made version stays true to that legacy.

The outer shell is a thick-ribbed nylon serge, engineered to closely mimic the texture of genuine Nomex material. Warm polyester insulation lines the inside, rated for intermediate temperatures between -10°C and 10°C, so it holds its own in cold weather. The rounded collar, twin flap pockets, zippered utility pocket on the left sleeve, and ribbed cuffs and sleeves round out the design, blocking wind and locking in warmth much like its popular cousin, the MA-1.

Early-style back action pleats offer excellent mobility; note that the Beige colorway has slightly different specifications and omits these back pleats.
