INNAT Hunter Hiker Jacket Sumikuro Cotton Women's Jacket

Order via Japan Rabbit

Reimagining a classic 1980s outdoor design for women, the INNAT Hunter Hiker Jacket mixes vintage utility with modern Japanese garment craft. It keeps the signature staggered button placement and iconic oversized front pockets, while updating the fit for seamless layering. A newly added large rear pocket boosts storage even further, and raglan sleeves give your shoulders complete freedom of movement.

The fabric is 100 percent cotton herringbone twill, dyed in Sumikuro using Binchotan charcoal with iron mordanting. A bio-wash finish gives it a soft texture and a comfortable, broken-in feel right from the start. This jacket comes in size 3, with a chest width of 72 cm, a sleeve length from the neck of 80 cm, and a body length of 70 cm.

Because of the natural botanical dyeing process, each jacket shows subtle individual differences in hue and texture. The dark dye can transfer onto lighter garments during the first few wears, so wash it with neutral detergent and dry it in the shade. With wear and washing, the botanical dye settles and ages beautifully into a one-of-a-kind patina.

Made from 100% cotton herringbone twill with a bio wash for a soft, broken-in feel. Garment-dyed using botanical dyes, the Sumikuro color is dyed with binchotan charcoal using an iron mordant, creating natural tonal variation and depth. Raglan sleeves improve shoulder mobility, while the adjusted volume offers a modern silhouette suitable for layering.

Natural dyeing may result in individual variations in color, texture, and sizing. Dark colors may transfer during the first few wears; avoid pairing with light-colored garments. Hand wash with neutral detergent, or machine wash in a laundry net. Dry in the shade, avoid bleach and alkaline detergents, and iron inside out with a pressing cloth at low to medium heat.
