Inspired by vintage medical workwear, the design borrows from old surgical trousers, giving these pants a wide, overpants-style silhouette built for airflow and ease. LE TRAVAILLEUR GALLICE reinterprets traditional French workwear, blending historic utility with relaxed, everyday style.
Made in France, the pants use premium 100% Irish linen supplied by Spence Bryson, a maker holding a Royal Warrant from the British royal family. The fabric is highly breathable and absorbent, with natural mold resistance, so it stays comfortable and resists clinging even when you sweat.
Repeated washing softens the initial crisp texture into a smooth, gentle feel against the skin, while subtle fading develops over time for an easy, worn-in look.
Designed with a crotch gusset and an adjustable drawcord waist, they can be worn without a belt. Available in Marron and Marine, the pants come in sizes 1, 2, and 3: size 1 fits up to about a W30, size 2 covers W31 to W34, and size 3 runs W36 to W38. The drawcord allows extra room to adjust, giving a loose, airy fit that keeps you cool all summer long.

Size 2: maximum waist approx. 88 cm, rise 37 cm, thigh width 35 cm, hem width 25.5 cm, inseam 74 cm. Recommended for W31 to W34. Size 3: maximum waist approx. 100 cm, rise 37 cm, thigh width 37 cm, hem width 27 cm, inseam 74 cm. Recommended for W36 to W38.
Measurements are approximate; the waist can be tightened with the drawstring. Machine wash gently at up to 30°C separately from white or light-colored items. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Dry flat in the shade. Iron up to 150°C using a pressing cloth. Wet cleaning permitted on a gentle cycle.
