Lot.703 Men's Denim Jacket C.1920s Cotton

Order via Japan Rabbit

Step back into the early workwear aesthetic with the Lot.703 Denim Jacket C.1920's. Made from 100% cotton, this men's jacket breathes historic detail into a modern silhouette. This piece comes in brand new, unused condition.

The jacket reflects the core philosophy of Taiga Takahashi: excavating future artifacts by reviving relics of the past. Designer Taiga Takahashi, born in 1995, has collected thousands of garments over 70 to 100 years old from antique dealers in the countries he's lived in since his teens. He studies these pieces through an archaeological lens, using them to inform clothing that could exist now or in the future.

Takahashi entered the London International School of Art in 2010 before advancing to Central Saint Martins in 2013. In 2015, he worked as a design assistant in ateliers in Antwerp and London. After graduating in 2017, he founded Taiga Takahashi, Inc. in New York, bringing this archaeological approach to modern fashion.
