It uses a traditional hidden-character technique often found in wafuku design, weaving the lucky number 77 into the shape of the nazuna plant, a playful wish for long-lasting prosperity.

Details

Nazuna Kyo Miyabi Weave relaxing wear, made in Japan from 100% cotton. This double-layer cotton fabric is slowly woven from extremely softly twisted yarns, combining the durability of cotton with a soft, smooth feel, light weight, and knit-like stretch.

The textured fabric combines airy crepe and soft gauze for breathability and warmth, while minimizing cling. It becomes softer and more comfortable with wear and washing, and requires no ironing. Finished in black and white with the original “Nazuna Stripes” print, a traditional Japanese-style flowing stripe pattern that incorporates the shape of nazuna and hidden “77” numerals.
