Pokémon Card Game Poliwrath No Rarity Symbol First Edition Old Back

Poliwrath stands ready for battle on this vintage Japanese Pokemon card, pulled from the very first print run of the game. It features the classic Japanese Old Back design and comes from the prized no-rarity-symbol run, the printing collectors recognize as the true first edition.

The card is unused. That missing rarity symbol in the bottom corner is what sets these earliest prints apart from later runs of the original Japanese Base Set.

Poliwrath is a Water and Fighting type Pokemon first introduced in Generation I.
