Ruchie Parquet Square Wooden Charm Keychain (07152406)
Add a touch of elegance to your favorite daily setup with this geometric wooden charm from Luchue. Handcrafted in Hakone by craftsman Yuta Shimizu, this piece uses traditional Yosegi-zaiku woodcraft, combining different natural woods into a single seamless design.
Yosegi-zaiku is a celebrated Japanese craft with a rich history in the Hakone region, known for turning varied wood grains into striking geometric patterns. Moving away from Luchue's usual round charms, this year's design takes on a clean square shape. The elastic cord hole sits diagonally across the corners, so the charm tilts into a stylish diamond angle once it's attached to your notebook cover.
The natural wood finish pairs exceptionally well with leather covers, making it a great accent for a Traveler's Notebook. As you handle it, the distinct wooden textures will deepen and gain character over time.
This item is brand new.
A square Yosegi marquetry charm handmade by Yuta Shimizu of Ruchie, a workshop based in Hakone, using traditional Japanese Yosegi-zaiku techniques. The hole for the elastic cord is positioned nearly diagonally, allowing the charm to sit at an angle on a TRAVELER'S notebook in a diamond shape.
Made by combining various types of natural wood, its texture develops a richer character with use.
