The brand is well known among denim enthusiasts for ultra-sturdy fabrics and heritage detailing, and these trousers carry that reputation through in both construction and texture.
Made in Japan from 100% cotton, the trousers use the same thick yarn found in Samurai's SJ52BP baker pants, here sulfur-dyed a deep olive and tightly woven into a 15oz original back satin fabric. The silhouette is slim with a shallow rise, giving a clean, streamlined line.
Signature details include a silver-lame katana selvedge ID, kamon (family crest) pattern pocket linings, and iron-made black pine tree tack buttons chosen to suit the fabric's heft. A classic Samurai guarantee ticket and top brand label round out the chino-specific finishing touches.
