SujiBori Carbide Chisel LIGHT 0.2 mm Scribing Tool

Order via Japan Rabbit

Add clean, crisp panel lines to your plastic model kits with the Carbide Chisel Light 0.2mm. Scribing is a classic customization technique in the model building community, turning plain plastic armor into highly detailed machinery.

This scribing tool features a tungsten steel blade with a mirror-finished 0.2mm tip made specifically for carving concave grooves. You simply apply light pressure and pull the blade, repeating the stroke until you reach your target depth. Tungsten steel provides excellent wear resistance, though you should avoid twisting or bending the tip, as carbide can snap under sideways force. If you ever need to restore the edge, resharpening requires a diamond whetstone or diamond paste.

The tool comes complete with its own handle and protective cap, offering the natural grip and control of a standard design knife. Total dimensions measure approximately 145mm long by 7.5mm wide, with a 3mm shank diameter. While offered from a pre-owned listing, the tool itself is in brand new, unused condition.
