Transformers Missing Link D-02 Soundwave Anime Version Figure
The ultimate Decepticon spymaster joins the Missing Link lineup with Transformers Missing Link D-02 Soundwave (Anime Type). This figure captures the classic G1 look with die-cast zinc alloy parts, while new articulation opens up poses that were never possible before, including a kneeling stance and the classic eject pose. Soundwave transforms into his familiar cassette player mode, plus the Cybertronian street lamp mode he used to deceive the Autobots in the very first episode of the original cartoon.
The Missing Link line bridges the gap between vintage 1980s toys and modern posability, celebrating the rich history of the Transformers franchise. This set includes the first-ever G1-format figure of Laserbeak's Cybertronian mode (Anime Type), a cassette companion who never got his own toy back in the day. You also get Soundwave's signature Electric Launcher, Concussion Blaster, and Barrier Case, along with a display headset, command microphone, and cord, each finished with color tweaks not seen on the previously released D-01 version.
Both Soundwave and Laserbeak carry heat-sensitive Secret Emblems that reveal their faction logos when warmed with a finger. Soundwave's body now features sculpted mech details in place of the old flat stickers, though optional foil stickers are still included for those who prefer the vintage look. Complete with newly illustrated package art in a nostalgic style, joint holes for optional display stands, and a collector card, this brand-new figure blends old-school charm with modern craftsmanship.
Transformers Missing Link D-02 Soundwave (Anime Type) is a G1-style plastic figure with some zinc alloy parts, produced at the original size. Soundwave transforms into a stereo cassette player, a Light Standard Mode based on Episode 1 of The Transformers, “More Than Meets the Eye, Part 1,” and can deploy cassette troops from its chest.
Updated articulation supports poses such as kneeling and the eject pose. The figure features three-dimensional versions of the mechanical details originally represented by stickers, plus optional foil stickers. Secret Emblems on Soundwave and Condor reveal their faction insignias when warmed by hand. Both figures have joint holes for separately sold display stands.
Includes the newly designed Condor Cybertron Mode (Anime Type), its first G1-format figure release, based on Condor’s Cybertronian appearance in Episode 1. Accessories include an Electric Launcher, Vibrating Blaster Gun, Barrier Case, headphones, command microphone, and cord, with some colors changed from the separately sold D-01 Soundwave. The headphones are for display only and are not recommended for wearing on the figure’s head. Also includes a newly illustrated retro-style package and a collection card.
