Unused Pure Silk Hitoe Nagajuban Kimono Underrobe with Aranami Wave Pattern, Basted Stitching Included

Order via Japan Rabbit

Wrap yourself in traditional Japanese elegance with this off-white silk nagajuban under-kimono. Crafted from pure silk, it features a subtle woven wild wave pattern and a crepe-like textured grain that feels soft and light against the skin. It comes complete with a pre-attached half-collar (han-eri), so it's ready to pair with your kimono right away.

In traditional Japanese dress, a nagajuban is the essential inner robe worn beneath the main kimono, protecting the outer silk and helping it drape cleanly. This single-layer (hitoe) robe includes double-layered sleeve construction (sode-musou) for a refined finish, along with a rear seat reinforcement panel (ishiki-ate) for added durability.

This item is unused and still retains its original basting thread. Since it has been stored for some time, folding creases are present and minor unseen spots may exist, though no major stains or dirt were found upon inspection.

The piece measures 130 cm in length, 64 cm in sleeve-to-center neck length (yuki), 47 cm in sleeve length, and 30 cm in back width.
