The body is soft black steer suede, paired with sleeves in steer oil leather sourced from Texas hides. That oil leather is dyed in the drum without hiding natural scuffs or marks, giving it a water-dyed finish that's surprisingly soft for its roughly 1.2mm thickness. Custom-knitted Y2 ribbing wraps the collar and cuffs, and a padded nylon quilted lining adds warmth for cold weather. Where varsity jackets usually rely on melton wool bodies, this all-leather build gives it a more refined edge.
