The anime follows Japanese skater Yuuri Katsuki after a crushing loss at the Grand Prix Final sends him back to his hometown in Kyushu. Just as he considers stepping away from the sport, five-time World Champion Victor Nikiforov shows up out of nowhere and offers to coach him. Alongside Russian rival Yuri Plisetsky, Yuuri enters an unprecedented Grand Prix season full of rivalry, growth, and passion.
Inside the box are four Blu-ray discs and five CDs. The video content covers all twelve episodes with audio commentary, plus a bonus disc packed with extras: choreography reels by Kenji Miyamoto, textless openings and endings, Yuri Plisetsky's "Welcome to The Madness" exhibition skate from the GPF in Barcelona, and Stéphane Lambiel's dubbing footage for Yuuri's final skate. There's also a newly filmed collaboration video in which Lambiel, the 2006 Torino Olympics silver medalist who voices himself in the series, performs Yuuri Katsuki's free skate routine. A fourth disc collects footage from the Yuri!!! on CONCERT event.
The five CDs bring together the complete original soundtrack and song collection, both discs of the Yuri!!! on CONCERT live recordings, and a bonus disc featuring Taro Umebayashi's "Yuri on ICE" performed for Yuuri's free skate. Also included are the opening theme "History Maker" by DEAN FUJIOKA and the ending theme "You Only Live Once" by YURI!!! on ICE feat. w.hatano.
