Altus A1107 Flute Silver E Mechanism 958 Engraved
The Altus A1107 flute brings meticulous Japanese craftsmanship to a covered-key (closed-hole) design fitted with an E-mechanism. Altus is known worldwide for flutes with rich resonance and excellent balance, and even as an entry-level model in the lineup, the A1107 shares key design elements with Altus's handmade series, including pointed key arms, hand-shaped key cups, and specialized post bases.
Material choices are central to its sound. The headjoint and main body tubing are crafted from Ag958 Britannia silver, paired with an Ag925 sterling silver lip plate. The keys and body rings are cupronickel with a silver-plated finish, backed by stainless steel springs. The flute comes with its original hard case and a soft carrying case.
This secondhand flute is in very clean overall condition, showing only light rubbing and minor marks from previous use. It has been carefully cleaned and its sound output has been verified at an amateur playing level. Originally retailing at 505,000 yen, this is a rare chance to bring home a genuine silver-bodied Altus flute, straight from Japan, at a fraction of its original cost.
