Step into the world of Midnight Grand Orchestra with the ANW03 Midnight Grand Orchestra Ver. wireless headphones, the second collaboration model from ANIMA, the wireless-audio sub-brand of Japanese in-ear specialist Acoustune. The design reproduces the headphones vocalist Suisei Hoshimachi wears in the Allegro story arc, fusing that concept art with genuine high-fidelity engineering.
Graphic artist Punch handled the design: a midnight-black body with a matte-finished housing, a black baked-paint headband, silver prints of the Midnight Grand Orchestra motif across the shell, and an etched top plate ornament meant to catch light like stars in the dark.
The internal guide voice is built from 42 original recordings by Suisei Hoshimachi herself, the most voice lines ever packed into a single headphone model. Sound producer, composer, and DJ TAKU INOUE supervised the final tuning, and users can switch between his three tuning patterns through the dedicated ANIMA Studio app. Packaging carries new artwork drawn by Yonemuro and laid out by Punch, wrapping the whole set in the series' nighttime atmosphere.
Under the hood sits a newly developed 40mm CoClear diaphragm dynamic driver, paired with ANIMA's custom S.A.L.T. Plus digital signal processing and a purpose-built Class AB amplifier for finer tuning control. Connectivity covers Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX Adaptive (24bit/96kHz), auto pairing, and a built-in mic, plus wired options via 3.5mm cable or USB OTG. Frequency response runs from 20Hz to 40kHz.
At about 240g, the headphones deliver roughly 37 hours of continuous playback over aptX and recharge in about 1 hour 30 minutes. The box includes a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, pre-attached ear pads, a quick guide, and a warranty card.
