This large vintage Japanese boro patchwork cloth carries real history from a traditional folk house in Japan. The previous owner's great-grandmother hand-stitched it about 50 to 60 years ago, and it was later kept in the family's old farmhouse. It measures approximately 135 cm by 140 cm and is made from 100 percent cotton, featuring dyed fabrics, traditional kasuri patterns, and detailed hand-sewn sashiko stitching.

Boro is a celebrated Japanese textile art born out of necessity and resourcefulness.
