Crafted in Japan from 100% cotton, this S Type pair faithfully reproduces the transitional 1965 to 1966 XX style denim. Denime earned its legendary status among collectors worldwide for pioneering Japanese denim reproduction, meticulously recreating every construction detail of mid-century American workwear.
Woven on traditional shuttle looms, these jeans feature period-correct details like a black lacquered two-prong donut top button, coin pocket selvedge, yellow hem selvedge, a double-sided red tab, and a paper patch. The relaxed silhouette offers comfortable room through the hip and thigh with a gentle taper toward the ankles. Years of real wear have carved out genuine whiskers, honeycombs behind the knees, and a well-worn faded finish that factory distressing simply cannot replicate. The fabric still holds real thickness and body, so more character can develop with continued wear.
This is a pre-owned item in well-loved condition, cleaned using specialized denim detergent. Visible wear includes a 5mm hole near the front right hem, a 3cm tear near the back right hem, and light scuffing near the back of the knees. Tagged as size 32, the actual measurements are an 80cm waist, 30cm rise, 82cm inseam, 22cm hem width, and 111cm total length with chain-stitched hems.

Made from 100% cotton selvage denim woven on vintage shuttle looms. Features black bar tacks, a selvage coin pocket, yellow selvage at the hems, double-sided red tab, paper patch, front V-stitch, single stitching above and double stitching below the waistband, single-stitched inseam and back pockets, and a black-lacquered two-prong donut top button. The silhouette is DENIME's fullest XX-model-inspired fit, with room through the waist and thighs and a gentle taper to the hem.
The denim has been worn from rigid condition and shows overall fading, pronounced whiskering at the thighs and knees, dimensional wear at the seat and stitching, and honeycombing behind the knees. The fabric retains thickness, firmness, and body.
