The furisode is the most formal kimono for young women in Japan, celebrated for its long, flowing sleeves. This particular kimono has a protective guard coating that repels water and shields against spills. Every main piece in the set is crafted from pure silk, aside from the decorative metallic threads used in the embroidery and gold accents. Please note that the hair accessories, footwear, bag, and undergarment belt shown in photos are not included.
This secondhand set is in excellent condition with no noticeable stains or damage, and it has been checked to ensure no needles remain from tailoring. The obi-jime cord and kasane-eri collar are brand new; the furisode, nagajuban, and fukuro obi are unworn but classified as reuse items, kept in beautiful condition.
The furisode measures 174cm in shoulder-to-hem length, 70cm in sleeve width (yuki), 108.5cm in sleeve length, 28cm in front width, and 33.5cm in back width, for a relaxed, roomy fit. The nagajuban measures 130cm in shoulder-to-hem length, 69cm in sleeve width, and 108cm in sleeve length. The fukuro obi measures 30.5cm wide and 448cm long, woven in the renowned Nishijin style of Kyoto.

The furisode features gold decoration and embroidery, with a protective water-repellent finish. The fukuro obi is 100% silk excluding metallic threads and is finished without an inner core. The nagajuban is 100% silk, not polyester, and has its haneri collar already attached.

Condition: furisode, fukuro obi, and nagajuban are in excellent pre-owned condition. The fukuro obi has no noticeable stains or dirt. The obijime cord and kasane-eri are new; the obiage, embroidered haneri, and nagajuban are in excellent condition. The furisode, obi, and nagajuban are classified as pre-owned even if unworn. Metallic-thread sections and some areas of the obi may contain materials such as acetate. Materials used for the embroidery thread and gold decoration cannot be identified. Needle inspection completed.
