Pour a glass of Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora Special, a Japanese plum wine crafted to match the personal taste of Vtuber Usada Pekora. Produced by historic brewer Meiri Shurui, this 500ml bottle carries an alcohol content of 12 percent.

The liquid blends plum spirits aged in cellars for over 18 years, resulting in a plum wine that's light and easy to drink, yet carries a satisfying depth. Enjoy it straight, on the rocks, or mixed into cocktails; it's designed to be good company for a night of streaming or simply relaxing at home.

Hyakunen Umeshu is Meiri Shurui's flagship plum wine series, home to "Baika Hyakunen Umeshu," a bottle that once took first place at the world's largest plum wine competition. Every release in the line uses carefully selected plums and patient aging to build layered sweetness balanced against a bright, fresh plum flavor.

This particular bottle carries its own story. Back in 2019, Usada Pekora tasted Hyakunen Umeshu during a broadcast of her "Snack Usada" segment, and her sharp, honest reaction became a hit moment with fans. That spontaneous connection led Meiri Shurui to create an official collaboration, first with "Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora ver." in 2020, and now with this new "Pekora Special" edition.

The artwork is once again by illustrator Ume Aoki, who returns to draw a Pekora that matches the drink's character: cute on the surface, with real substance underneath. As Aoki put it in her comment for the release, she's happy to be drawing Pekora again after all these years, and hopes fans will enjoy both the original and the Special version, in moderation of course, while looking forward to plenty of evening drinking streams to come.

This is a brand new, unused bottle. Purchases are limited to 12 per person, with shipping starting in early April.
