Meet Elena, the beast-type centaur character from Kotobukiya's sci-fi fantasy model kit line, Arcanadia. Based on illustrations by popular artist Zton, this non-scale plastic model kit stands approximately 7.2 inches (183 mm) tall, blending mythical beauty with futuristic armor for model builders and collectors.
The Arcanadia universe combines high fantasy with modern tech, and Elena reflects that with two display options: her relaxed Normal Mode or the heavily armored Wise Mode. The kit includes four pre-printed face parts and a water-transfer face decal for creating your own expression, along with optional horse ear parts and five PVC wrist parts for extra posing variety. Her ponytail and tail bases are both movable at the joint, and her waist belts swivel and connect via ball joints for finer detail work.
Three ball joints across her waist and lower body allow for expressive posing, including sitting or lying down in a horse-like stance. Her large lance converts into two different forms, her left shoulder armor slides open into a large shield, and her lower body can combine with her weapon to form the silhouette of a military horse.
Customization runs deep in this line. Elena features standard 0.1-inch (3 mm) joint holes across her body and back, giving her full compatibility with Kotobukiya's M.S.G, Frame Arms, and Frame Arms Girl equipment. The hexagram-shaped joint on her back is also compatible with Arcanadia's own magic square parts. The box rounds things out with a dedicated display stand, pose-support parts for holding her large lance steady, and a special neck joint that connects with Frame Arms Girl and Megami Device heads.
