Pilot Capless Fountain Pen El Greco The Annunciation Ohara Museum x Usagiya Original OM-FCUO25-JK

Order via Japan Rabbit

Hold a masterpiece of art history in your hand. The Pilot Capless El Greco Annunciation fountain pen is a limited-quantity re-release created through a collaboration between the Ohara Museum of Art and stationery specialist Usagiya. It draws inspiration from El Greco's solemn religious painting, which depicts the Angel Gabriel revealing to the Virgin Mary that she has conceived Christ.

The painting recently underwent a major restoration, its first in about sixty years, and went back on display in October 2025. Restorers invited from Spain brought out brighter, more vivid colors in the work. To capture that transformation, the pen barrel is finished with a special three-color marble paint design, topped with a matte coat that lends a deep, dignified feel echoing the painting itself. Because each marble pattern forms uniquely during painting, no two pens look exactly alike, and you cannot request a specific pattern.

Pilot's classic Capless mechanism lets you write smoothly without the hassle of a traditional cap, and you can choose from five different nib sizes to suit your preference. This brand new item comes without ink, ready for you to add your own.
