Seiko Selection S Series Space Brothers Collaboration Limited Edition Watch with Original Drawstring Pouch
Seiko revives a legendary piece of spacefaring history with the Space Brothers Collaboration Limited Model from the Seiko Selection S Series. It's based on a digital watch first released in 1982, nicknamed "Rotocall," that was beloved by astronauts and is said to have supported over 160 space missions. That classic returns in 2025, the year the Space Brothers story begins, reimagined around the spacesuits worn by brothers Mutta and Hibito.
Each version is limited to just 824 pieces worldwide. The watch has a 37.0 mm stainless steel case, 10.6 mm thick, and comes in two finishes: one with black plating, the other with gold plating (bands match the case finish). It runs on Caliber A824, with a rotary switch for mode changes, LED backlighting, a stopwatch (measuring to 1/100 of a second), a 100 minute timer, daily and single alarms, a full auto calendar good through December 2074, and 10 bar water resistance. The case back is engraved with a symbol mark and a unique serial number, and an interchangeable nylon strap is included.
Your watch arrives in a special box illustrated with the reunion scene of Mutta and Hibito. Buying through the official store also brings two extra bonuses: a specially designed protective case, and an original velvet drawstring pouch made just for this collaboration. The pouch design borrows a piece from the "WE ARE SPACE BROTHERS" symbol mark, a small way of saying you're part of the crew, and works the line "even to the moon, it's only three days by rocket" into its design. Soft and multipurpose, it's as happy holding your watch as it is holding accessories or everyday items.
