Made in Indonesia from natural rattan and reinforced with wire, the basket measures approximately 38 cm wide, 25 cm deep, and 19 cm high, excluding the handle. The handle has an internal wire core for extra durability and folds flat so you can stack items on top. It's sturdy enough to hold 4 to 5 kg of heavy items, such as bottled drinks, so it's built for real use, and the lid can support around 5 to 6 kg on top without breaking.
With no internal dividers, the basket offers complete freedom of use: a sewing box, a craft tote, general storage, or even a photo prop. Several customers have used it just this way, filling it with tools, fabric scraps, jars, or cans as they like. Two toy poodles weighing up to about 2 kg each can comfortably fit inside for a photo op, though keep in mind this basket is made for human use, so any pet use is at your own discretion.
Each basket is crafted and painted individually by hand. Natural color variation, subtle paint unevenness, and minor gaps between the lid and body are normal features of this handmade process.
