Heat-Resistant Iron Griddle Pan with Handle (Half)

Order via Japan Rabbit

Upgrade your everyday cooking routine with this heat-resistant ceramic grill plate from TOJIKI TONYA, crafted in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. It's made from traditional Banko ware heat-resistant clay, prized for its gentle heat conduction and far-infrared effect that locks in moisture, making grilled fish plump and vegetables juicy.

Designed to fit inside a standard fish grill, this compact single-serving plate lets you cook a main dish and a side at the same time while keeping your stovetop free for other tasks. Use it over an open flame, in the oven, or in the microwave. A spout on one side makes it easy to drain excess oil, and the built-in handle makes it simple to lift the plate straight from the heat; just set it on a trivet before bringing it to the table, since the handle and body stay hot after cooking.

Measuring approximately 105 mm long, 270 mm wide including the handle, and 40 mm high, this lightweight plate weighs around 330 grams. It's microwave and oven safe, though not suitable for direct use on induction cookers (it can be used with a fish grill attachment on induction models). Dishwasher safe with proper spacing between pieces, this versatile Japanese kitchen tool arrives brand new and ready to make quick meals effortless.
