The main container is a heavy crystal glass box with a straight-grain cut pattern on the base, a gold-trimmed rim, and a natural wood lid. Its clear, unadorned surface gives it a stylish, refined look; the seller notes that turning the piece over lets the gold trim catch the light even more, making it useful as a display base for vases or ornaments when not in use as tableware. Imagine goldfish-shaped yokan "swimming" inside, or muscat and kyoho grapes arranged in a checkerboard pattern beneath the lid.

This is a near-mint, unused storage piece, complete with its original box and product stickers. The crystal glass and chopstick rests show no scuffs. The gold trim has slight age-related discoloration in a few spots, and the wooden lid bears a small mark where a handle knob was once attached. The original box shows minor storage wear but is included.
