Moosmann Bassoon 447E Orchestra Model, Selected Instrument

Order via Japan Rabbit

This hand-selected Moosmann 447E Orchestra Model bassoon brings a rich, powerful voice to any performance. Used primarily in wind ensemble settings, this pre-owned instrument produces a thick, slightly bold tone that projects easily from deep low notes to bright high registers, with a pitch balance the seller describes as well controlled throughout its range.

Moosmann is well known among double reed players for traditional German craftsmanship and exceptional resonance. This particular 447E was distributed in Japan during the era when Yamaha handled the brand, and it corresponds to the current 150N lineup. Please note that this instrument is not equipped with a balancer.

A cleaning swab and reed case are included, and a synthetic Legere reed can be added upon request.

Shipping is offered in one of two ways: via Sagawa Express with high-value insurance coverage (up to one million yen, insurance cost covered by the seller, shipping fee borne by the buyer), or as air cargo picked up at the airport, limited to direct flights departing from Kagoshima Airport.
