Meet the NAKAMURA original Shin Gotochi Windy: OSAKA "Kuidaore" Ver. 2.3 lighter case, available only at this shop. This regional design puts Zippo's classic mascot, Windy, right in the heart of Osaka's food culture. Instead of her usual lighter, she's holding takoyaki in both hands, topped with carefully rendered mayonnaise and green laver. (Don't worry, she hasn't quit smoking. Her right hand is just full of takoyaki this time.)
Windy stands against a backdrop of building silhouettes based on Osaka's famous landmarks. Line this piece up with other entries in the same regional series and the silhouettes connect to form one continuous skyline, part of an ongoing project to eventually cover spots all across Japan.
This is a Zippo case only (no lighter insert included), built on the brand's classic #200 model, the standard silver design Zippo is known for. It features a nickel-plated satin finish that keeps the familiar silvery look while resisting tarnish over time, making it easier to keep looking new. High-definition inkjet printing brings out the fine linework and bright colors of Windy's design.
