Upgrade your custom retro gaming hardware with the RGBDRV rev.2.2. Crafted by the independent Japanese hardware developer NX Labs, this specialized driver board delivers a crisp 15KHz horizontal frequency output designed to replace aging screens on classic consoles.

Unlike its predecessor, the LCDDRV, this board is RGB input only. That focus eliminates the color bleeding seen on the older model and improves visibility and response time compared to the LCD panels available back when these consoles were new.

Because it operates without a frame buffer, input lag is virtually nonexistent. Adjusting your picture is straightforward, too: built-in on-screen display controls let you set screen width and position with the press of a button, and backlight LED brightness is now adjustable (a fixed setting on the older LCDDRV). The board supports NTSC video signals, includes a chroma filter on the sync separator IC, and offers a solder jumper for 75-ohm C-SYNC termination.

It's designed to work with the 3.5-inch TFT panel LQ035NC111 or IPS panels such as the FS035LQ093 (recommended for its lower power draw), FS035LQ093-01, and HP350S001. The display panel itself must be purchased separately.

RGBDRV rev.2.2 is a general-purpose LCD driver board by NX Labs for retro game consoles with 15 kHz horizontal-frequency output. It is designed exclusively for RGB input and is intended to provide improved visibility and response speed compared with period LCD panels.

Compatible with TFT LCD panel LQ035NC111 and 3.5-inch IPS panels FS035LQ093, FS035LQ093-01, and HP350S001. FS035LQ093 is recommended for power consumption. The required LCD panel is sold separately.

Features on-screen display button controls for image width and position adjustment, adjustable backlight LED brightness, and a C-SYNC input with a solder jumper for a 75-ohm termination resistor. The sync separator IC input includes a chroma filter with an approximate 550 kHz cutoff frequency. No frame buffer is used, resulting in virtually no display lag.

Supports NTSC. PAL compatibility has not been tested. Most NTSC home consoles are expected to work, but some arcade boards may have image alignment outside the adjustable range or may not display.
