Seafloor Control Messiah Semi Long XD Midnight Aurora / Glow Dot Fishing Lure
The Seafloor Control Messiah Semi Long metal jig takes the explosive sliding action of the original Messiah and sharpens it into a more technical lure. A light flick of the rod sends it darting sideways like a panicked baitfish, before it settles into a long, horizontal fall. That brief pause in the water column, suspended and flashing, is exactly what triggers aggressive strikes from wary game fish.
Seafloor Control is well known among saltwater anglers for slow pitch jigging lures built for deep ocean drifts, and this Amberjack custom edition shows why. The XD Midnight Aurora colorway layers three distinct light sources into one lure. The base uses a soft-reflecting aluminum hologram, more muted than standard holo finishes, that closely mimics the natural sheen of real baitfish scales and appeals to sharp-eyed, pressured fish. The front carries a deep purple to fluorescent pink gradient that reacts strongly to UV light, giving it strong visibility even in murky or dim mid-to-deep water. The back is set with special glow dots, brighter and longer-lasting than standard glow, that flash into view each time the jig slides and flips.
As the jig cuts through its signature long slide, these three light layers, aluminum flash, UV-reactive pink, and glow dots, trade off in a way the maker compares to an aurora flickering through the deep. It's built to cover the full range, from big pelagic amberjack, tuna, and yellowtail near the surface down to bottom-dwelling rosy seabass and blackthroat seaperch in the mid-deep sea.
This is a brand-new, unused jig in the XD Midnight Aurora colorway, ready to load straight into your slow pitch jigging rotation.
SEAFLOOR CONTROL Messiah Semi Long fishing lure in XD Midnight Aurora, an Amberjack custom color.
Features an aluminum hologram base with a soft, lifelike scale-like reflection, a deep purple to fluorescent pink gradient that reacts strongly to UV light, and special glow dots on the reverse for enhanced brightness and duration. Its sharp long-slide action alternates the UV-reactive surface and glow backside, while the horizontal fall creates a long pause designed to trigger strikes.
Suitable for large pelagic species including amberjack, tuna, and yellowtail, as well as mid-depth and deepwater fish such as Akamutsu and Kuromutsu.
