SEAFLOOR CONTROL S-LEGEND LSG Dianne Matte Black Fishing Lure

Order via Japan Rabbit

Meet the S-LEGEND metal jig by SEAFLOOR CONTROL, presented in the iconic LSG Daian Matte Black finish. This colorway pairs a sleek matte black front with a solid special-glow back, and it's become a go-to choice for deep-sea anglers chasing skilfish and alfonsino.

The name honors Mr. Muramatsu, known as Daian, the angler who pioneered skilfish jigging in Japan back when neither the jigs nor the technique existed yet. He proved fish could be landed this way, famously wielding a 900-gram Rector jig to prove his point, and his pioneering spirit opened the door to the skilfish jigging style anglers pursue today. If you're taking on deep-sea jigging for alfonsino or skilfish, this is the color to reach for first.

Carved by Norihiro Sato, the pioneer behind the slow pitch jerk style, the S-LEGEND is a high-performance semi-long jig. Sato designed it as a sharper alternative to his popular Arc jig, trimming away excess volume for a slimmer, thinner profile. The result cuts through water resistance, speeds up the fall, and stays highly responsive through a one-pitch short jerk.

It's particularly effective when you need extra separation from the Arc: working blackthroat seaperch in tricky currents, targeting amberjack when the tide turns sluggish, or drifting with dotera-nagashi while favoring the upward cadence of your jerks. This jig rewards a feel-based approach, and once you find the right current for it, it performs beautifully.

SEAFLOOR CONTROL leads the global offshore scene with jigs built for technical, highly responsive fishing. Add the S-LEGEND to your tackle box alongside the Arc, and you'll have two subtly different semi-long jigs ready to match whatever the ocean throws at you.
