Its clean flavor comes from the maker's signature "whole peel-scraping" method. The outer skin is shaved away before the fruit is halved and pressed through rollers to extract fresh juice. This process leaves out most of the flavonoids and limonoids found in citrus peel, the compounds that usually bring bitterness and harshness to the flavor.
Because this straight juice is non-concentrated and unfiltered, it retains natural pulp fibers, giving it a smooth mouthfeel and a rich, satisfying finish. 2024 Good Design Award winner. This juice is made with 100% domestically grown Japanese yuzu and iyokan citrus. It combines non-concentrated “Whole Peel-Shaved” Japanese yuzu vinegar juice with straight iyokan juice, offering concentrated yuzu tartness and subtle iyokan sweetness.
Made using the proprietary Whole Peel-Shaved method: the outer peel is removed, the fruit is halved, then passed through rollers to crush the pulp and extract fresh juice. The peel-free pressed juice contains very little of the flavonoids and limonoids responsible for bitterness and astringency from the outer peel. Unfiltered for a clean taste with fiber and a rich texture.
