A touch of quiet elegance for your table: this handcrafted wooden fork and spoon set is carved from Japanese wild cherry wood, each piece finished with a subtle decorative touch that turns everyday meals into a small ritual. Artisanal wooden tableware from Japan is prized for its tactile warmth, offering a soft, natural feel that metal cutlery simply cannot match.
Every set is individually handmade, so each piece shows its own wood grain, color variation, and natural character, including the occasional small knot or mark that comes with genuine natural wood. The fork measures about 19.8 cm long, with a head measuring roughly 5.7 by 2.4 by 1.7 cm. The matching spoon comes in at about 20 cm long, with a head measuring roughly 5.9 by 4.3 by 2 cm. The finish uses a safe blend of perilla oil and beeswax, drawing out the natural beauty of the timber.
To keep the wood in good condition, wash by hand with a soft sponge and neutral detergent, then dry thoroughly before putting the set away. Avoid microwaves, dishwashers, dish dryers, and soaking, as these can cause cracking or warping over time. Store away from direct sunlight and humid conditions for the same reason. If the finish starts to lose its shine with use, simply rub a little household olive oil onto the surface with a soft cloth to bring back its rich luster.
