GLASFORM John Ditchfield Glass Flower Vase

Order via Japan Rabbit

Add timeless artistic flair to your home with this vintage 1980s glass flower vase from GLASFORM. Crafted by British glass artist John Ditchfield, the piece bears the engraved mark "GLASFORM Ditchfield 1186" near the base.

Ditchfield trained in glassworking techniques in Italy, where he became captivated by Art Nouveau glass art. After further travels through Europe, he returned to his native Lancashire and founded the GLASFORM studio in 1982. His work grew from research into delicate chemical processes that produce shimmering visual effects, as well as collaborations with artists and craftsmen from other fields; pieces that have since earned recognition around the world.

The vase measures approximately 9 cm in width and depth, standing 24.5 cm tall. This secondhand piece was stored without its original box, so it shows slight rubbing and minor surface scratches upon close inspection. There is no major visible damage, and it remains in good vintage condition overall.
