This pre-war ceramic sake bottle, known as a tokkuri, is a piece of Japanese military memorabilia dating to the early twentieth century. It's decorated with imagery marking a triumphal return from campaign: soldiers marching along the Great Wall of China, an airplane overhead, and the kanji characters for loyalty and bravery.
