Because every item is individually carved from natural timber, each spoon boasts its own unique wood grain and color tone that deepens in character over time.
This brand-new spoon requires a little gentle care to stay in top shape. It is not suitable for microwaves, dishwashers, ovens, or direct flames, and should not be left soaking in water. Simply hand wash it with a soft sponge and dish soap, dry it well, and occasionally nourish the wood with a bit of drying oil like walnut, perilla, or linseed oil to preserve its lovely natural finish.

Not microwave-, dishwasher-, open-flame-, or oven-safe. Wash gently with dish soap and a soft sponge, and keep dry rather than soaking in water. As the oil finish gradually wears over time, periodically apply a drying oil such as walnut, perilla, or linseed oil. Allow about two weeks before use if the scent of oil or lacquer is noticeable.
Each handmade spoon varies slightly in color, grain, knots, shape, size, and thickness. The color and luster will develop with continued use.
