Based in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, Ueno was born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1990 and trained at the Arita College of Ceramics. She later honed her craft in renowned pottery towns such as Hasami and Koishiwara before settling in Takeo, where her deep ties to these traditional regions still echo through her tableware.
