The piece is crafted by Japanese glass artist Taiga Oku. Born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1986, Oku graduated from the Faculty of Art at Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts in 2009. He joined Kurokabe Co., Ltd. in 2010 as Chief of Blow Studio, then struck out on his own in 2022, opening his independent studio in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, where he continues to create contemporary glassware today.
