The bowl comes from Japanese glass artist Taiga Oku, born in Kagawa Prefecture in 1986. After graduating from the Faculty of Art at Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts in 2009, he joined Kurokabe Co., Ltd. in 2010 as chief of its blow studio. In 2022, he struck out on his own, establishing an independent studio in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. His craftsmanship reflects the quiet beauty of Japanese studio glass, turning everyday dining into something special.
